Mrs. Brown retired as a custodian with the Barrow County School System.
Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harold Brown; daughters, Doris Ann Jeffords and Cynthia Dianne Long; son, Barry Long; and parents, J.W. Evans and Lou Ella Hayes.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Lewis) Hogan of Bostwick, Deborah Woods of Lagrange, and Jamie McGowan of California; sisters, Mary Richardson of Braselton and Sheila Stancil of Winder; four grandchildren, Grace Powell, Andy Fincher, Brandi Kokaly, and Jason Wehunt; six great-grandchildren also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Brown.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
