Dewey Columbus White, age 86, passed away on February 22, 2023. Dewey was the son of the late Dewey C. and Julia Davis White. Dewey was preceded in death by his wife Karen Medcalf White. He was self employed as a building contractor and real estate developer. Dewey was a thoroughbred horse breeder who loved animals. Dewey served in the Army post Korean War. Dewey was a member of Yaarab Shrine in Atlanta and was a member of numerous business organizations.
Survivors include his children: Michael (Michele) White and Barry (Karen) White; sister, Carolyn Holbrooks; and grandchildren: Regan, Connor, Parker, and Davis White and Ryan and Megan Craig.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Crowell Brothers Cemetery.
