Donald Baker

Donald Franklin Baker age 68 passed away peacefully on April 26, 2020 at Winder Health Care where he resided the last year. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Louise (Wood) Baker, and grandparents Fred (Pa Bake) and Rea (Bake) Baker and brother in law Donnie Jacks. Donald is survived by brother Bobby Baker of Statham, sister Joyce Jacks of Winder and nephew Ross Jacks of Gainesville. Donald is also survive by aunts Jewelee Gunter of Bogart and Jeanette Baker of Statham and uncle Leonard Baker of Hull. Donald was a member of Bogart First Baptist Church. Donald was employed by Southern Waistband for over thirty years. He also was employed at Winder Health Care and Georgia Square Mall. Donald was a member of the 1972 class of WBHS. Donald enjoyed NASCAR, Braves baseball, and wrestling. Family graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 pm at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Rev. Danny Fuller and Rev. Ted Tedder officiating.
