Mrs. Dorothy Austin Patrick

A former resident of of Winder , she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Bernice Inez Austin. She was employed by Carwood / Duckhead Industries for 55 years until her retirement.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winder and attended the Old Fort Baptist church in Summerville for the past 8 years.

Preceeded in death by her husband, Paul Patrick. They were married for 55 years. Also preceeded in death by her brother Willie T Austin, her sisters Rubye Harbin and Johnnie Wall

Survivors included her son Micheal Patrick of Bluemont, VA., daughter Paula Snipes and son in law John of Summerville SC, , grandson Matthew and his wife Kelly, granddaughter Laura Wood and her husband Jim. Great gandchildren Patrick, Samuel, Rutledge and Jocelyn Paige. Sister in law Shirley Patrick and special nieces and nephews, Melanie House Bays, Sammy Wall, Debbie Russell and Veta Weatherford.

Services will be held Thursday August 4th at the First Baptist Church in Winder with visitation from 11am to 1PM at Smith Funeral Home. The Reverand Chad Mantooth officiating.
