Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Rubadou, age 95 of Winder, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019. She was a member of Pentecost United Methodist Church. Betty lived most of her life in Atlanta, where she worked as a cosmetician and sales person for Rich’s in downtown Atlanta and several other companies. She was an artist and loved crafts of all sorts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Elizabeth Kerbs Bayley; her husband, Ernest “Bud” Rubadou and a son, Glenn Rubadou. Betty was survived by two sons, Frank Rubadou of Winder and Gary Rubadou of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Deana Sharpnack, Troy Westmoreland and John Paul Rubadou; four great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Jennifer Carey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 2PM in Arlington Cemetery, Sandy Springs, GA.
