Bernice H. Ulmer, age 85 passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014. She was a retired teachers aid. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Carl and a member of The Auburn Lyons Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Ettia Mae Price Barnhill and her husband Jack Franks. She is survived by three sons, Larry Ulmer of Auburn, Richard Ulmer of New Iberia, LA and Ronnie Ulmer; Several grandchildren survive. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday June 6, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Carl with Rev. Tom Ham officiating. The family will recieve friends from 5 until 6:00 PM. Smith Funeral Home Winder, GA is in charge of arrangements.
