Jerry Edwin Harvey, Sr.

Jerry Edwin "PaPaw" Harvey, Sr., age 81 of Auburn, GA, passed away on May 26, 2026. He was born in Hamilton County, TN, to the late Richard and Beatrice Harvey. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He moved to Georgia over thirty years ago.

His career was spent as a truck driver. When not working he enjoyed the outdoors and fishing, refurbishing cars, watching NASCAR, and watching Tennessee Volunteers football. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, James Westbrooks. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lois Holland Harvey; sons: Robert (Beth) Westbrooks and Jerry E. Harvey, Jr.; daughters: Renee Grant and Rhonda (Tracy) Porter; and six grandchildren: Kaitlin, Logan, Ricky, Patrice, Hollie, and Joseph.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 30 in Smith Memory Chapel.
