Jerry Allen Sosbee of Statham age 68 passed away Sunday December 23, 2012. He attended Mars Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Raymond Earl Sosbee Sr. and Mrs. Etta Mahle Sosbee. Three Brothers, Raymond Earl (Monk) Sosbee, Bobby Sosbee and Billy (Pap) Sosbee. A sister, Linda Gail Phelps. He is survived by his wife Sandra Jean Burton Sosbee, Statham. A son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Robin Sosbee, Statham. A daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Matthew Gora, Suwanee. A sister, Sarah (Sally) Peters and husband Pete, Hampshire IL. Five grandchildren, Hunter and Stafford McCurry, Walker Sosbee, Savannah and Shayna Gora. A sister-in-law Etta Jewel Sosbee. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 26, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder GA. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leon Pass and Brother Steve Bingham officiating. Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
