Joyce Ann Womble, age 73, of Winder, GA passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. Joyce was a native of Sweetwater, TN. She retired as an Intake Sales Representative for Global Industries. She loved everybody and never met a stranger. In fact, every Christmas she made a gift basket for her Postman. She enjoyed watching the Food Network.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Mack L. Harrison and Mary Sue Coleman Harrison of Sweetwater, TN. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Johnny Mack Womble; her sons: Bryan Sewell and Tracy Sewell; brother, Mack Harrison, Jr.; and sister, Cathy Gail Harrison. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Joy (Lane) Sargent of Winder, and Robin Gonzalez of Sweetwater; brother, Stevie Harrison of Sweetwater; sister, Jane (Danny) Maynard of Sweetwater; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of arrangements.
