Marian was born in Bishop, Georgia on February 13, 1928. She was married to the late Harold Austin Evans. She was retired from Statham Garment Company and was a member of Union Christian Church.
Marian is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lillie Mae Aycock Maxey. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Talmadge Maxey, and a nephew, Barry Maxey. Marian is survived by her son Wayne Evans of Moultrie, Georgia. She is also survived by grandchildren David Evans and Richard Wages, two nieces Diane Props and Teresa Barnes, and a cousin Lucy Meeler.
A graveside service for Marian will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680.
