Mary Griffeth Anthony, age 88, of Bethlehem, GA, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church for 45 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Anthony; parents, Emory and Emma Peevy Griffeth, daughter, Joyce Anthony Bruce, great-grandson, Tucker Autry, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Darryl Phillips of Winder, GA, Sue and Ricky Doster of Bethlehem, GA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ed Griffeth of Bethlehem, GA; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-9:00 pm on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Peavey officiating. The burial will follow the service at Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery, Bethlehem. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
