Melissa Joanne Harp, age 46 of Winder, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Monroe, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Ward and her brother, William Ward. She is survived by her husband, James Harp of Winder; a son, Justin Ryan Hunter; a daughter, Whitney Michelle Hunter, Winder; her mother, Joanne Ward, Winder; her grandmother, Frances Ward, Winder; a uncle, Larry Ward, Winder and four grandchildren, Christiana, Keira, Isabel and Jana Hunter. Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6 until 9:00PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church, Monroe, GA with Rev. Tommy Fountain officiating. Mrs. Harp will lie in state from 1 until 2:00PM at the church. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Gideons International for a Bible in memory of Melissa.
