Mildred Spratlin

Mildred Spratlin, age 91, of Athens, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was born in Athens and graduated from Athens High School. She was a member of the Methodist church. Mildred was the receptionist for Dr. Nile Clark in Athens. She was a very caring and nurturing mother and she loved to cook. She loved her grandchildren and step grandchildren equally.

Mildred was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Calvin Felix "Hap" Harrington, and her second husband, Tom Spratlin. She is survived by her son, Felix (Penny) Harrington of Athens; step-daughter, Terri (Greg) Spratlin Reeves of Colbert; brother, Melvin Duane of Winder; grandchildren: Alex Harrington and Eric Harrington; step-grandchildren: Kathryn (Drew) Reeves McHugh, Katelyn (Taylor) Reeves LeBlanc, and Chad Reeves; great-grandchildren: Emma Harrington and Ethan Harrington; and step-great-granddaughter: Emory Taylor LeBlanc.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 5 from 12:00 am and 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel. Mildred Spratlin will be laid to rest in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
