Nancy V. Willoughby, age 94, of Winder, GA, passed on April 16, 2026. She was born in Bethlehem, GA to the late Roy Richard and Clara Griffeth. She was employed with GTE for thirty years and retired as Operations Service Manager. Nancy was the driving force behind Old Will's BBQ from 1979 until 2000. She was a member of Chapel Christian Church. After retirement, Nancy enjoyed going on bus tours and cooking.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, A.J. Willoughby; and her siblings: Helen Patrick, Jack Griffeth, and John Griffeth. She is survived by her only son, Gregory Willoughby, and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA, on April 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. There will be a Graveside Funeral Service at Barrow Memorial Gardens following the visitation. Dolores Simpson will officiate.
