Mrs. Nan Elizabeth Carter, of Winder Ga.passed away on May 23rd, 2010. Sons, Shaughn Carter, Shannon Carter, Ian Carter, and the late Patrick Carter. Daughters, Nancy Ray, and Jennifer Emmerling. 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren .
She was a former member of the Eastern Star, VFW Auxilliary and a retired seamstress and cook. She also taught Sunday School for 17 years and the youth for 3 years. Did volunteer work as a pink lady at the Fitzgerald Dorminy Medical Center and the Wilcox Public Library. She was a member of the Martha McCloud UDC of Wilcox County.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 onFriday May 28,2010 with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday may 29,2010at Smith Memory Chapel with Rev Dale Gilmer officiating. Burial at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder .Arrangements under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Memory Chapel, Winder, GA.
