Paul Aloyisus Frevele, Jr.

Paul Frevele Jr., 80, formally of Winder, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025. He was a native of Babylon, Long Island, NY. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Senoia, GA and a former member of Auburn First Baptist Church. Paul retired from the US Military serving in the Marine Corps, the Army National Guard and the US Army Aviation Division. He was a former Catholic and was a Grand Knight in The Knights of Columbus. Paul was also an accomplished woodworker.

Paul was preceded by his parents, Paul Sr. and Jeannette Burke Frevele and two sisters, Margaret Bouquet and Mary Jane Bonanno. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Elaine Chitwood Frevele of Newnan; sons, Paul Christopher Frevele of Tulsa, OK, Brandon Rucker (Jessica) of Winder and Jeremy Smith of Newnan; daughters, Terry Jean Green (Paul) of Commerce, Amber Smith of Morgan, Tx and Megan Bellew of Newnan; sisters, Constance Geier of Scottsdale, AR, Carol Ann Andrews (Jim) of North Las Vegas and Patty Zolmann (Gene) of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren, Tyler Green (Jessica), Elizabeth Green, Anslee and Kaylyn Bellew, Corbin and Cooper Rucker and Nolan Smith and great-grandchildren, Mackynzie, Shelby, Madelyn and Jaxon Green.

Funeral Services with military honors will be held at 2PM Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 12 until 2pm at the funeral home.
