Peggy Ann Maxwell

Peggy Ann Maxwell age 80 of Auburn, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021. She was a native of Jackson County and she was a lifetime member of Union Baptist Church. She retired from Carwood Manufacturing as an office manager. Peggy loved her family, gardening and travel.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Evra Terry Perry and a brother, Gene Perry. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dwain Maxwell of Auburn; a daughter, Sherry E. Carbin (Steve) of Buford; four brothers: L B Perry (Paralee) of Jefferson, Bobby Perry of Commerce, Charles Perry (Connie) of Gainesville and Doug Perry of TN; four sisters: Dot Nix (Bill) of Alpharetta, Shirley Pearson of Athens, Kathy Brayon (Ken) of Hull and Judy Perry of Jefferson; two grandchildren: Taylor and Madison Carbin of Buford and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Smith Memory Chapel. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
