Randel “Randy” Robert Michael, 58 of Winder, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was a native of Columbus, OH. Randy was in law enforcement for over thirty years starting with DNR at Lake Lanier, Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Auburn Police and retiring from Winder Police Department.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Wall Michael; his father, Glen Larkin; a brother, Gregory Michael; and a sister, Deborah Hampton. Randy is survived by his son, Brandon Michael of Winder; his mother, Bobbie Jean Larkin of Jefferson; and a sister, Sheryl Miller (David) of Dawsonville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Randy will be placed with his wife at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
