Richard Kirk Chambless

Richard Kirk Chambless, 56 of Elberton, GA, passed away August 19, 2021. Kirk was a loving husband, father, papa and friend. Kirk was the assistant manager at Food Lion in McCormick, SC. He loved his job and was always thankful for wonderful associates that he thought the world of.

Survivors include his wife Vicki, his daughters: Jamie Stitley (Nathan) and Erika Scott (Rocky); his sons: Derek Greene (Jessica) and Earl Knorr. He is also survived by his parents Henry and Sue Chambless and sister Sandy Aiken. Kirk was a proud Papa of five incredible grandchildren: Hunter, Kalissa, Jake, Dylan and Cara. Kirk was preceded in death by his daughter Kim Chambless.

Funeral services will be held August 22nd, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Smith Memory Chapel. Rev. Johnny Wright will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Snellville, GA.

The family will welcome friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 21st, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for all of the well wishes and the abundant love and prayers that Kirk received.
