Although our time was short it was special to me and my family, we’re thankful we were able to share some special moments with Bill and Karen, a special couple for sure. I am blessed with a beautiful family and thankful for the part Bill had in that, I could tell immediately that he was an honorable man and had a lot of good traits and that we had a lot of things in common. You were loved and will be missed. Love always, The Browns

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Whitehead family. Having moved from Michigan to Bethlehem in 2005, we met Karen and Bill thru church and they became our first Southern friends. They kindly took the time to introduce us to many of the sights around Georgia and we enjoyed our adventures very much. Some of our best times, however, were spent at their lovely home, admiring the beautiful yard or Bill’s latest carpentry project, playing with Higgi and sharing a few laughs - we so enjoyed hearing the funny stories from Bill’s younger days and time in the Navy. We will miss those times but are so grateful for the memories. Love, Craig & Jackie

Bill was one of my oldest friends, We met aboard the USS Saratoga and served for three years together around 1959.

We kept in touch with each other for over 60 years and got together with each other on our many trips to Florida. We met Karen about 20 years ago and fell in love with her too.

We will miss him very much.
