Passed away peacefully Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Heron Terrace at 90 years of age. Loved and cherished husband of the late Joyce Mary Mayo (2014) for 62 years. Dear and loving father of Roger (Kathy) of Burlington, Steve (Susan) and David (Darlene). Proud grandfather of Robert, Geoff, Lauren, Jacquelyn, Gillian and Benjamin. Brian & Joyce immigrated to Canada from England in 1954. He was a British Marine, a track star and an all around athlete. He was the proud owner of Brian Mayo Realty Ltd. for over 30 years. Dad & Mom were avid sailors and travellers, past members of the Windsor Yacht Club and shared a great love for Canada. They truly had a life well lived and are now together again. Brian will be sadly missed by all those whose lives he has touched. Special thanks to the Bird's View Lane staff of Heron Terrace, for their compassionate care; Amy, Tammy, Tina, Sherri, Nick, Susan and Sarah. Visitation will take place at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E.) from 3-6 pm on Friday, November 24, 2017. A private family service will follow.
