Doreen Alice Capnerhurst

Predeceased by her beloved husband & soulmate Clifford, parents Mary & Fred, brother Willie & sister Beulah, stepchildren Bryan, Christine, Clifford, Henry & Dwaine.

Beloved mother of Ron(Lisa) Renaud, grandmother/Mimi to Hagan & Benrey, Doreen will be sadly missed by many other relatives & friends, especially by Doreen(Peter), Cindy(Steve), Connie(Craig), Sharon(Rick), Judy, Vi, Bob (Dennise), and her dear friend & neighbour Dorothy Thompson.

Doreen was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594 for over 45 years. She was awarded life membership for her dedicated service to Veterans & community. She served as 3rd Vice-President, on the Executive, and in the Colour Party for many years, as well as on the Executive of Zone A1 as Secretary, Co-Chair of Legion Week& Charities Welfare Chair. She was also a member of the Essex & Kent Scottish Association and truly enjoyed the Pipes & Drums.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Essex & Kent Scottish Association or the 2715 Army Cadet Corp would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 3rd 2025 from 5-8 pm at Anderson Funeral Home (895 Ouellette Ave). A second visitation will take place on Saturday October 4th 2025 at Anderson Funeral Home from 9 am continuing until time of service at 10am. Procession to Greenlawn to follow.
