We are saddened to announce the passing of our Mother, Granny, and Great Granny. Elsie Joyce Horwood passed away on March 4, 2017 after a long battle with Parkinson's. As it is very difficult to say goodbye, she is now back together with her beloved husband Pat (2006) who she missed so very, very much and she is no longer in any pain. She was a loving mother to Robert (1999), Pamela Bedore (Bill), Frank (Julie), Patrick (Jeanette), and Dale. Granny to Mindy Horwood, Amy Tamminga (Pat), Erin Harding (Rob), Katie Horwood, Chris Horwood, Patrick Horwood, Alex Horwood, Carissa Chapman (Scott), Holly Bedore, Kelly Bauer (Brad) and William Bedore. Elsie is also survived by 14 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed for her sense of Humour and her ability to always say what was on her mind, but most of all her unconditional love for all of us. Our family is grateful for the care and support received from the staff at the Villages of St. Clair where Elsie resided.
