Passed away peacefully on August 24, 2014 at the age of 87. Reunited with her late husband Alan (2004). She will be missed by her only son Roger (Chris), her granddaughter Rose (Ken) Mitchell, her sister Nick, brother Chuck (Faye) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Much appreciation to former neighbours Steve and Mary Suntres for their love and care. A very special thank you goes out to the staff of Franklin Gardens Long Term Care Centre for their kindness and compassion throughout the years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Gerri may be made to the Humane Society.
