After a short and brave struggle with cancer, mom left us to be with Jesus and dad (Glen 1978) in Heaven on July 30, 2014. She leaves behind Suzie (Guy) and Brenda (Mike). Predeceased by her parents Albert and Elsie Hollefreund. Survived by her sisters Shirley (John), Verna (Bill), and Linda (Ivan). Nana of Samantha. Predeceased by her brothers Ken, Holly and David and her sisters Grace, Doreen and Carol. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E.) on Saturday August 2nd at 12 pm, followed by a celebration of Joan's life at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Windsor and Essex county Cancer Centre Foundation.
