It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Joseph on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026. Predeceased by his loving parents Edward and Ruth Amond. Nephew to many caring aunts and uncles. Survived by his wife Carolyn Kay, daughter Toni-Linn, grandchildren Sky-Linn and Vance, great grandchildren
Dean and Lyla-Linn. Cherished brother of Estelle (Louise), Leo (Satrina), Edward (Roseanne), James and Lenard (Patricia). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Joe was an avid gamer, fisher and most importantly, a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He enjoyed a good meal and always had a full plate at holiday dinners. He also had the gift of the gab and would talk your ear off if you let him. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bergeron and the staff at Journey Home Hospice for the compassionate care Joe received while he was there. He felt at home and for that we will be eternally grateful.
