Laurie McGraw

November 6, 1957 – January 3, 2014

Peacefully in the hands of God. Laurie courageously battled cancer and won his victory, going gently to heaven, surrounded by his loved ones at home. He was born in Tracadie, N.B. and moved to Windsor in 1965 where he worked very hard for a number of roofing companies. Predeceased by his dear parents Gerald (1994) and Emilienne (2006). Loving father of Kaurie and Jesse Elliot-McGraw; Jamie LeVeque (Shay); and step-father to Aimee Elliott-Renaud (Shayne Renaud). Adored grandfather to Simmon, Luca (1999), and Katie. Beloved brother to Laurent (Nov. 20, 2013) (Diana Dutka), Geraldine Marmus (Jean Claude), Bernard (Diana), Emile (Stephanie), Ginette McNeilly (Walter), Claude, Joanne Jackson (Mitchell), Suzanne, Onile, Sylvio, and Anita Lebreton (Richard) from Nova Scotia. Laurie will be sadly missed by all of his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and his many friends. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anderson Memorial Chapel.
