Passed away at Met Campus on January 16, 2015 at the age of 99. Loving wife of the late Jacob (1989). Beloved mother of Brian (Brenda) of LaSalle and Jeffrey (Rosalind) of Lorton, Va. Grandmother of 5, including Meredith Popp (Michael Rovansek) and Andrew Popp. Great-grandmother of 10. Jean was born in North Bay and taught elementary school in a one room school house in northern Ontario. After moving to Windsor, she taught at Hetherington Public School for a number of years, retiring in 1977. Jean was a long time member of the former Riverside Presbyterian Church. For the past 6 years she resided at Lifetimes on Riverside. Heartfelt thanks to her Scrabble partner and friend Marge Pullin, for her companionship over the years and to Brett from Stage One Salon for his care and attention. A special thank you to Jean Caron for preparing many dinners for her. Jean was looking forward to her 100th birthday, but could not make it. So we ask you to remember Jean just the way she was.
