Marcia Grace Bartlet

Bartlet, Marjorie Grace (Marcia) nee Blackall. Born June 14, 1924, passed away December 24, 2016 at Sunrise Assisted Living, Windsor at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late James Noble Bartlet, Q.C. (2005). Dear mother of Joan Bartlet, Toronto and the late Paul Bartlet (1988). Survived by her niece; Susan Blackall (England), and nephews David Blackall and Peter Blackall. Marcia was much beloved by the partners and staff of her late husband’s law firm, Bartlet & Richardes LLP. Marcia taught English, as a second language to many immigrants. She was a member of the Maple Leaf Chapter of Questers and a member of the Volunteer committee of the Art Gallery of Windsor, a member of Essex Golf and Country Club, a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and was active as a curler at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club. Marcia, a prairie Girl, loved living in Windsor where she and James developed many lasting friendships. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting will be held on Monday, January 2nd at 1:00 p.m. followed by service at 2:00p.m. at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E, Windsor). Marcia loved life, lived well and was well loved. Marcia will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
