Peacefully, at the age of 91, we say goodbye to a truly beautiful soul Margaret Sipos. She was one of the sweetest and kindest women you could ever meet, with a warmth that made everyone feel welcome. She made friends wherever she went and was a much-loved favourite among residents and staff at Extendicare Southwood Lakes.
In her younger years, she put her many talents to work at Sears making custom drapes. With a gift for both numbers and creativity, she could measure, calculate, sew and somehow turn it all into something beautiful—a perfect reflection of her creative and capable nature.
Above all, her family was her greatest joy. She adored her daughters, Margaret Beaudoin (late Greg), Veronika Nagy, who were her pride and joy. She was a beloved grandmother to her two “princess’,” Teri Henderson (Grahame) and Jessica Brandon (Alex) and her first joy, “Scotty” Scott Nagy (Kristy). She treasured every moment spent with her family and her 8 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her dear brother Oszkar (Julie) Remenyi, and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by loving brothers Steve Meszaros and George (Ann) Meszaros.
She had an endless amount of love to give and a kindness that touched so many throughout her 91 years. She will be deeply missed by her family, her many friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Her gentle spirit, generous heart and beautiful smile will never be forgotten.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Extendicare Southwood Lakes for the compassionate care provided.
If so desired, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
