I just was informed of Marlene's passing by her brother Ricky on January 5th, 2016. After he told me I found myself rather stunned and extremely saddened. Way back in 1982 Marlene and I were both just a couple of kids. We thought we were adults but of course we weren't. We married each other despite the advice of just about everyone. It didn't last long...we really were too immature at the time. It's easy to see that now. I wish I had known she was ill, I would have wanted to speak to her once again. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to Lillian. I already expressed my thoughts with Ricky when I saw him and for Les, I didn't know you but I am assuming you are Marlene's husband/partner.... I'm very sorry for your loss. She was such a bubbly, fun, and caring person when I knew her. She will always hold a special place in my memory as I'm sure she will for you as well.

I am extremely shocked at the passing of Marlene "grandma" to my beloved furry friend Kaleb that I lovingly adopted from Les and Marlene.Kaleb passed away in August 2014 and I know he is in good hands with you Marlene.My prayers and condolences go out to Les and the rest of the family.Marlene was a wonderful person.

Words cannot describe the shock of the passing of my dear cousin marlene even though we were far apart from each other we always seemed to say a quick hello through Facebook it is hard to believe that she was the same age as me and has already departed this world my thoughts and prayers are with you aunt Lillian and Les and always remember she will be that bright star looking down on us hugs!!
