Passed away peacefully on March 6, 2018 with family by her side.
Devoted and loving wife of Roy for 70 years.
Cherished mother of Sharon Stewart (Collin), Gary Leng (Penny), Larry Leng and Roy Leng Jr. (1960).
Dearest Grandma of Elizabeth Adlam (Robert), Cheryl Eastman (Mike), Amanda daSilva (Greg), Job Leng, Larry Leng Jr. (2001) and Angela Leng (C.J.).
Proud Great Grandma of Jacob, Luke, Lianna, Lila, Ethan and Emerson.
She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Mike and Julianna (Marko) Dikan, her in-laws Job and Blanche Leng and siblings Rose (Joe Bincsik & Joe Bartek), Frank Dikan (Hilda), Michael Dikan (Dorothy) and Ethel Donovan (Arthur).
Mary and Roy were foster parents in their early years of marriage. Mary was involved in Windsor Central Little League as an active supporter of Roy who coached and managed for many years. They travelled extensively and acted as tour escorts for many of the trips they coordinated with the CAW Local 444 Retirees and Mae's Travel.
Her favourite trips were to: Hawaii, Las Vegas, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary.
Mary was very proud of her Hungarian heritage and often made kieflies, cabbage rolls, kolache, and other Hungarian dishes for her family and friends to enjoy.
A special thank you to all of the doctors and the caregivers who were involved in the latter stages of Mary's life.
At Mary's request cremation has taken place and a private service has been held.
An open house to celebrate Mary's life will be held on March 25, 2018 at the Caboto Club at 1:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m.
