Mary Stedman

Mary Louise Stedman (Theoret) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Albert Stedman (1994). Loving mother to Penny Major (Dave) and Lorri Miller. Cherished mimi to Chris and Colleen Major, Nathan Major, Steve Dummer and Ian Dummer. Sadly missed by great-grandaughters, Cassie, Hailey and Mariah, Louise is survived by her sisters Theresa, Ethel (George) and brother Donald (Harriet) and predeceased by Lil, Julie, Shirley, Phil, Earl, and Henry. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Taking it easy was not her goal. She Volunteered for the March of Dimes, and the Alzheimer's Society. She won the Lillian Blair award at Huron Lodge for 25 years of volunteer service. Louise was an active member of her church. Louise was always willing to help, never saying no to anyone. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in her care. In keeping with Louise's wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to meet at Blessed Sacrament Church - 3707 Queen St (at Prince Rd.) after 10 a.m. on Friday December 2, 2011 until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Private interment will take place at a later date. Donations to the Downtown Mission Foodbank would be appreciated by the family. Mom your job is done. You are finally home where you wanted to be.
