"Alien" left this world on October 24, 2023 at 39 yrs of age. He is and will always be greatly missed and forever loved by his mom Laurie and Byron (daddeo, as Mat called him). He is survived by his "best friend" Hades, many family members and numerous friends. Mat self taught to learn to play the guitar. Dimebag Darrell was his inspiration. Metallica helped him along greatly as well. He was a former guitar player/lead guitar player/bass player for the band Devilz by Definition. He loved practicing, doing shows and performing. Shredding was a favorite. Mat and Hades went through K9 Training together. He was proud of that. If you knew Mat, you knew Hades. They were always on an adventure together. He was a man of science, enjoyed Physics as well as other forms of science and Cosmology. He loved NASA and thought highly of Chris Hatfield. He enjoyed learning about history. He loved the 80's Era and would say he was born in the wrong decade. Mat had recently started restoring pictures in 8K UHD and also recoloring photos.
