Nicky Spiliadis

Passed away peacefully, surrounded with the love of her family, on August 19, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Sotirios (1999). Devoted and loving mom and best friend to Spiro and Paula Seguin and mother-in-law to Bart Seguin. Adoring yiayia of Stella, Emilia and Lilly Seguin. Born in Patra, Greece in 1936, Nicky and her husband emigrated from Greece over 40 years ago to start a family. She is survived by her beloved brother Panayiotis Apostolopoulou, her brother-in-law, Vlassi Spiliadis (Michigan), her sister-in-law Nikolitsa Apostolopoulou (Patra, Greece) and will be reunited with her parents and her loving brothers, Apostoli, Dino and Mitso, who predeceased her. She will be sadly missed by extended family in Canada, United States and Greece. She was devout in her faith and unwavering in her commitment and passion for her family. A special thank you to her family doctor Frank DeMarco and his staff, dear friend Dr. Anthony Pozzi and the staff, nurses and doctors of the 6th floor at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus. Relatives and friends are welcome to gather at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (65 Ellis St. E., Windsor) on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. for Holy Service with interment at Windsor Memorial Gardens thereafter. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation in her memory to the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
