It isn't often we come to know truly noble men. My father was one- a devoted husband, and my treasure in later life, for whom what can briefly be stated in an obituary can never summarize his humanity or his goodness.
He was passionate, lovely, and political. He knew his own mind and spoke it- an increasingly rare quality these days.
And for the years God shared him with us, survived by many relatives now in Canada and abroad, I am eternally grateful.
To yesterday's companionship, then... and tomorrow's reunion.
Those who are remembered are forever young.
A private funeral was held at Anderson Funeral Home.
