Beloved husband for 66 years of the late Gloria Webb (nee Petroff) (2021). Devoted father of Sandra Webb and Craig Webb and wife Rita. Loving grandfather of the late Brittany (1988), Meghan and Christopher Chamberlain. Dear brother of Larry Webb and Helen Danby. Predeceased by his siblings, John, Fred and Nancy.
Ron retired from General Motors after 40 years of dedicated service. In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and travelling to Florida with Gloria. Together, Ron and Gloria had big hearts especially when it came to the animals in the neighbourhood and they would try to help all cats they came in contact with by giving them a warm and loving home. Ron was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and he was still holding on to hope for that Stanley Cup win.
The family would like to thank the staff from I AID for their compassion and care in recent months.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Windsor Essex Humane Society.
Visitation will take place at Anderson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 5 – 8 pm. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, for the funeral service at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
