It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mother and grandmother, Ruby Mary Gibel in her 88th year, on Saturday, September 8, 2012. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Joseph Gibel (2005). Loving mother to Dennis, Dave and wife Elaine and Mitchell Gibel. Proud grandmother to David and Justin Gibel, Joseph, Jane and Julia Gibel. Predeceased by her sister, Edna and brothers, Wally and Ed. Ruby was a very patient and kind lady who devoted her life to caring for her family and a lifetime of canine companions. “Auntie Rube” to Darlene, Pam and George of Michigan. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Heron Terrace (Shallows Lane), for their compassion, knowledge and kindness shown to Ruby and our entire family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon.
