Loving mother of Kathy McIntosh (Joe). Cherished Big Grandma of Sarah (Jed), and Ian (Chantel) and fur babies Muffy and Molly. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Marie Roe, her brother Gerald (Mildred) Roe, and her sister Leona (Howard) Fleming. Survived by her sister Barbara (the late Joe) O’Connor and sister-in-law Eiva (David) Orr. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and God Children. Shirley was one of the original power sewers at General Motors. She always excelled at anything she tried; like stained glass, photography and especially quilting. She was a member of the Riverside United Quilters. Shirley enjoyed playing cards, especially with the Tuesday Night Euchre Club at the Legion and Hand and Foot with extended family in Florida. As per Shirley’s wishes, cremation has take place. Memorial visitation will take place at Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E. 519-252-5711) on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6 - 9 pm. The memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor Chapter of the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
