Peacefully in his 79th year, with dignity and strength, on October 18, 2021 at Windsor Regional Hospital. Predeceased by his loving parents Eileen and Charles Sr. Tragically predeceased by his brother, Charles Jr. (1949) from leukemia at 8 years of age. Survived by his loving family: brother Doug and his wife Carol of Stouffville, his children Rachelle and Charles, daughter-in-law Stephanie and grandchildren Chloë and Émelie, nephews David and Michael and their families. Tom loved his family, his friends, and talking to people everywhere he went. He was passionate about cars, music, watching sports, eating well and single malt whisky. He also had an avid interest in world politics and read voraciously on many subjects. He spent his entire career at Ford Motor Company and was very proud of his contributions. Personal face coverings are required to attend visitation and services. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Donations in tribute to Tom may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
