88 years. Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 24, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Harold (John) Miles (1978).. Loving mother of Graham Miles, the late Terry Miles (2010) & his wife Marilyn, Brian Miles & his wife Linda, Tracy Johnson & her husband Dave, Christine Murray & her husband Scott. Loving Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Violet will be missed by her sisters Irene MacIntosh, Rita Ross, and her sister-in-law Vanda Wood, along with many nieces and nephews and all who knew her. Predeceased by her brothers Jim, Frank and Benny Wood. Violet was a Veteran of the British Royal Navy in WWII. A special thank-you to the loving and caring staff of Chateau Park Nursing Home. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Thursday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev.
