Nettie was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her family and faith. She will always be remembered for her generosity, resilience, and sense of adventure.
Nettie will be sadly missed by her children; William, Alan (Brenda), Melinda (Dennis); five grandchildren; Lance, Lauren, Jenna (Kyle), Nigel, and Caitlin; three great-grandchildren; Hunter, Ben, and Alaia; and her siblings; Trudy Streeter, Kathy (John) Baron, and Jake (Patti) Funk. She will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She predeceased by her husband, Donald; their son, Timothy; her parents, Henry and Gertrude Funk; and her sister, Mary Bobychuk.
A service in celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 6, at the Henderson Highway Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
