Aleta was predeceased by her husband Arthur de Keruzec; brother Maurice Hogeland; sister Flora Eleanor Hogeland; grandson Steven How; and great-granddaughter Brooke Emburgh. She is also survived by her sisters Doris Asselstine and Elizabeth Phillips; six children Cheryl, Maureen, Colleen, Wendy (Graham), Wayne and Jim; step-daughter Lauraine; along with thirteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
