Antonio Rego passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, at Beacon Hill Lodge care home at the age of 85.
He was predeceased by his mother Maria and father Clemento, as well as his sister Amelia and brother Clemento.
He leaves behind his siblings Guiomar, Daniel, Fatima, and many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his children Luisa (Victor), Frank (Burcu), Elisa (Jason), Sandra (Peter) also his grandchildren Jesse, Mason, Nolan and Lilliann.
Antonio was born in Ribeirinha, Soa Miguel, Azores. He entered the army at a very tender age.
He later moved to Brampton, Ontario to make a better life for himself. He found his calling as a pipe layer in which he was very good at and worked at many construction companies both in Ontario and Winnipeg.
Antonio Rego is now gone to be with his maker; may he rest in peace.
