Arnel Cabral Paguia

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of the head of our family, Arnel C. Paguia.

Tatay, as his kids call him, loved spending time with his family and with people who enjoy talking about anything and everything. He enjoyed having good natured, playful arguments with his family and friends, especially when it comes to biblical topics and teachings inside the Church. He was an active member of the Church of Christ/Iglesia Ni Cristo and held numerous duties during the times that he was still able. He finished his course and for Church of Christ members, it is something that we all aspire to.

He was predeceased by his parents, Francisco and Natividad Paguia and his siblings Rogel and Terry Paguia. He will be greatly missed by his wife Gemma Paguia, his children Nicky/Jimi Lawson, Jonathan Diego Paguia, Gabriel/Patricia Paguia, Emmanuel(Jay-Ar) Paguia, Daisy/Jim Celebrado, his siblings Perlita/Peter Gaza, Emmanuel(Wawel)/Liway Paguia, Ronald Paguia, Aura/Ferdie Yumul, grandchildren, his nephews, nieces, cousins, and his friends and extended relatives.

The viewing/lamay will be held on Monday, May 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, with the final viewing and burial to follow on Tuesday, May 26th at 10:00 a.m.

Our family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and all the staff from HSC B2B, ICU, Kidney Transplant Clinic, and rehab clinic, as well as the emergency personnel and responders from 911 and St. Boniface Hospital. A heartfelt thanks for all their help and support. Lastly, we want to extend our thanks and appreciation to all the church ministers, officers, and brethren who were always ready to assist and kept him company. You always made his days enjoyable. We really appreciate everything you’ve done. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomson “In the Park” and we would like to extend an invitation to everyone who knew him, to join us in paying our last respects.
