There are no words that express the shock and loss of Ben at such a young age. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this trying time. I remember always talking to Stephen at St. B. when we worked together.  I was a new mother and often had questions about stages/behaviour etc.  Stephen always had a hilarious story about Ben.  When I asked if Benjamin had ever gone through a biting stage Stephen showed me the scar on his belly!!   I hope that scar never fades, it is your personal permanent tattoo of your Benjamin.

I remember Ben as a little boy full of energy and curiosity. I was lucky enough to grow up with his family and even had the privilege of babysitting him and his sisters once or twice. My family moved away from Winnipeg so we lost touch for a while but I was again privileged to meet Ben in Toronto, all grown up and wanting to pursue a career in television, my current career industry. It was amazing to see what a nice man he had grown into. I was so saddened to hear about this tragedy. I will carry the memories I have of you always and not live one day resenting getting older, as it's a privilege denied to many. RIP Ben.

Though we have met Ben only 3 times, we still remember his bubbly character and his enthusiasm to join in our conversations. I'm sure he is being missed by a lot of people. Stephen and Agnes, Ben is safe and peaceful in God's hands. May you, Katherine and Angela find peace and comfort in this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.

Ben will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  i will always remember what a great help he was to his mom, Agnes, after she injured her hip and needed help around the house and getting to meetings and appointments.  He became quite a good cook and I know his mom and dad will miss his lasagna.  His beloved dog, Oxford, will miss his buddy who took him out for walks and played with him everyday. I'm so sad! I've known you my whole Canadian life! Over the years we hung out a little less... but when you'd miss me, you'd yell at me and we'd make plans and all would be as nothing have ever changed. Our friendship has stayed constant regardless of time and distance, and I thank you for that!

Your loyalty to your friends is what sticks out the most...there was a time where I had a fallout with Avin, and you made every effort to repair it and overtime it all healed. I thank you for never giving up on the people you cared for and loved.

Everytime there was someone new in my life, I was sure to the get the BIG BROTHER speech...and as much as I'd get all frustrated with you...I knew you were there for me, and thay stayed true even when I messed up.

I have appreciated every memory, every disagreement and all the love we have shared.

I haven't seen or talked to Ben in years, but I remember him vividly from our time together at St. Maurice. 

Ben was an energetic guy who was always willing to help others understand something if they were stuck, or to teach someone a new skill - I remember he tried to teach me how to flip a pen around on my hand once...I never did get the hang of that...but Ben was always very patient and was smart as can be. He often spoke about attending his Kumon classes, and in fact some of our classmates attended Kumon with him.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Ben's passing, and I offer my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. No words can adequately express the sense of loss I'm sure you are all feeling, but know that even though Ben was only here for a short time - he touched many lives and will be remembered fondly. Rest in Peace Ben!

Heaven has gained another angel. Ben, I've only known you for 2 years and that is just way too short.

It seemed like we never had that weird awkward initial part that starts every friendship. You introduced yourself to me and, bam, we were friends and that was that.

You'd always invite me to all your outings, and continued so even when I kept declining for a period of time. You probably didn't know but during that time I was depressed over a family member's passing. While everyone else overlooked me, you always took the time to make conversation and to include me in whatever event was going on - thank you for doing that.

You were always enthusiastic about everything, kind to everyone, charming to those you meet, happy about life, and just full of life.

I feel blessed to have known you friend. The memory of you will always be in our hearts. 

Rest in peace buddy, and please watch over us in heaven until we meet again...

I grew up with Ben on the same street and went to school with him together with our fellow elementary and high school friends. 

Ben was a brilliant kid and always shared so much passion on the knowledge he gained. He never stopped learning and teaching his peers. He had a drive to keep going. He had such creativity and ingenuity.

You were one of the most genuine person that I know with a very kind heart and I respected you a lot for that. Ben, you were always so noisy and full of life. You make every party complete. I always reminded you to keep your inside voice when partying and bugged you for being so loud. I wish now I could here your loud voice bringing suggestions for games or telling us stories. You always had encouraging words for everyone, were always ready to listen. Thank you for choosing our group of friends to bless with your presence before you were called home. We will remember you forever and honour your memory. Rest in peace, buddy. You were always there for me as one of my best brothers.  I remember all our awesome and crazy times.  All our randomness and the little things in life that take place that forges such a strong brotherhood.  You were there for all those little moments.

You were there for all the moments I needed an ear or a shoulder.  The moments when I had problems you were there for me.

You were there for me during my big moments.  Our life changing moments like my wedding in Philippines in March 2015, you flew out from Canada and you were there.  My groomsman, my brother.

You were there for all of our group and life defining moments.  Alfreds @littlestrawberrymuffin bachelor party you were there.  You made us all laugh and you pumped us all up, you were there at your last moments... I wish I was there with you. 
We can only hope for the one day we will be there for you as well.  When the gates of heaven open and you will be there holding it open, the first one to the gate to welcome us all, I know that will be you.  You will be there.  And we will be there with you to spend the rest of everlasting life in paradise with you.  We will be there too.
