Remembered With Love

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Brian Arthur Pascoe at the Victoria Hospital on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

Brian was born on February 4, 1944, and grew up in the Riverview area of Winnipeg, where he remained his entire life, raising a beautiful family.

Brian leaves behind to cherish his memory, best friend and loving wife of 56 years, Lynn (McLean) Pascoe; two children, son David (Jackie) Pascoe of Regina, and daughter Dodi (Trent) Pestrak of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, Ethan, Bronwyn, Avery and Brody; sisters Carol Bell and Lolly (Brian) Mackenzie; sister-in-law Gill McLean; brother-in-law Bert Hall; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded into death by parents Lloyd and Reta Pascoe, father and mother-in-law Alexander and Joyce McLean, brother Lloyd, brother-in-law Sandy McLean, brother-in-law Bob Bell and sister-in-law Effie Hall.

Brian spent 34 years working for the Canadian National Railway before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed golfing, curling, hunting, hockey and pretty much any activity that let him enjoy spending time outside in nature. Brian spent many summer days at the family cabin that he and Lynn built in Hecla/Grindstone Provincial Park. Brian and Lynn loved to travel, especially during the cold prairie winters, where they spent many months with friends and family in Yuma, Arizona.

At Brian’s request, there will be no service and flowers are gratefully declined. Family and friends wishing to make a memorial donation in Brian’s name may do so to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, or to the charity of their choice.
