Charlie was born and raised in Beausejour. He moved to Winnipeg where he met his future wife, Annie. They married in 1950 and bought a house in North Kildonan, where they raised 3 children. He worked at Parkhill Bedding, Quality Bedding and the City of Winnipeg Quarries Department until he retired at 65. He stayed in his house until 2019, when he sold and moved to an apartment to really retire from all yard work & house maintenance. He liked fishing, doing Word Search & Crossword puzzles and reading. He loved keeping busy and enjoyed helping his children and grandchildren work on their houses and property.
The family thanks the Staff at Concordia Hospital for their kind and attentive care of Dad. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
