With hearts full of gratitude for a beautiful life, we announce the passing of Concordia “Connie” Nicodemus, who went home to the Lord on May 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, faith, and care that touched countless lives. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Born on September 8, 1954, in Bulacan, Philippines, Connie lived with joy, generosity, and resilience. She was the heart of our family, known for her warm hospitality and welcoming spirit.
In September 2025, Connie was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Throughout her eight-month battle, she never let the disease define her. She faced her illness with grace, unwavering faith and strength, and her trademark smile—teaching everyone around her what it truly means to be brave.
Connie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Nick; her children Marivic “Che” (Lito) Manalo, Carolyn “Lot” (Randy) Gumafelix, and Ricardo “Eric” (Rodalyn) Nicodemus; and her seven cherished grandchildren, Nico, Carla, Nicole, Caitlyn, Caleb, Abigail, and Nathan.
A lamay/ visitation will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Connie’s life will start at 7:00 pm. Please join us in remembering and celebrating Connie’s life.
Thank you for your prayers and kind expressions of sympathy. Your thoughtfulness brings great comfort to our family during this time.
With love and gratitude, The Nicodemus Family
