Cora Captain

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cora Captain on May 4, 2026, at the age of 76 years.

Cora will be deeply missed by her daughter, children and grandchildren; son Howard (Angel), Ralph (Flora), Flora, Charlie (Ann), Freda, Angelo (Urola),Sylvia, Rhoda, Allard (Mariam); Flora (Doug). She will also be missed by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She will be joining her late parents John J. and Priscilla Nasekapow, baby Nasekapow, baby boy Captain, daughter Priscilla Captain, Arehy, Beth, Jasmine, Emma, Jane, Archie, Marcus, Jennifer, Heavenly Christopher.

Opening and Closing prayers will be lead by Minister Allard Nasekapow.

Visitation will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C0X4, CA, on June 1, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 11:59 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C0X4, CA, on June 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3H 1B8, CA, on June 2, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
